Here are ways on how to qualify for cloud computing jobs:

1. Be a certified cloud computing specialist.

2. Have relevant experience.

3. Be up to date with the latest technology trends especially cloud computing.

4. Be able to speak and write English fluently and correctly.

5. Understand the Cloud Computing job description and requirements correctly.

6. Get a good understanding of cloud computing architecture and cloud computing security issues; so you can answer questions about them during the interview process.

Qualifying for Cloud Computing Jobs

1. Be a certified cloud computing specialist.

Cloud computing specialists are certified professionals who have demonstrated their expertise in cloud computing through the successful completion of training programs and exams on cloud computing. To become a certified cloud computing specialist, you will need to take the relevant training and pass the exam set by the International Council for Computer Certification (IC3).

If you are interested in this career path, you should first take a look at the list of Cloud Computing Specialists certification programs that are offered by IC3.

The IC3 has also established a certification program for service providers which is called the “Cloud Computing Service Provider” certificate. This is an advanced-level certificate that can be earned by service providers who have already obtained the Cloud Computing Specialist certification.

Aspiring Cloud Computing specialists should however be aware of the fact that there are no specific prerequisites for joining these programs. The IC3 will accept anyone ready to take the relevant training and pass the exam regardless of their experience in cloud computing or computer science.

2. Have relevant experience.

In addition to becoming a certified Cloud Computing Specialist, you can also get a job as a Cloud Computing Specialist by having relevant experience in this field. The experience requirements vary; depending on where you are applying for work. But it is safe to say that at least two years of work experience as a Cloud Computing Specialist is necessary for this job type.

You can acquire this experience by doing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields like Math, Business Administration or Economics and then joining a few internships as an IT intern before finally working as a full time IT professional with 2-5 years of hands-on experience working with various cloud computing technologies like virtualization, storage management, server management, network management, web hosting, etc. 

You could also get this experience by working as an employee with an IT Solutions provider; or VAR (Value Added Reseller) or other companies that specialize in offering cloud computing solutions to business customers on a subscription basis.

3. Be up to date with the latest technology trends especially cloud computing. 

This point cannot be stressed enough. If you want to qualify for jobs as a Cloud Computing specialist, you need to show that you are up to date. For instance, with all recent developments in this field and how those developments could positively impact your employer’s business; if they were implemented properly into their work environment.

4. Be able to speak and write English fluently and correctly.

In most cases, you will need to take the Cloud Computing Specialist certification exam in a location other than your home country so you should have good knowledge of the English language to pass this exam.

5. Understand the Cloud Computing job description and requirements correctly.

LinkedIn.com, Indeed.com, or Simply Hired. You should also be able to understand the job description and requirements. For example, by reading the job descriptions in each cloud computing job advertisement that you find online on Monster, Indeed, or other job websites like Craigslist
