You also have to be aware of the needs and wants of your customers. This is the reason why you need market research before you develop a product or service. The most important part of this research is talking with your customers and finding out what their needs and wants are. From there, you can create a product or service that will fulfill their needs and wants.

3. Track what your competitors are doing. 

If you want to compete with your competitors, then you must keep track of what they’re doing so you can come up with strategies that will either beat them or at least get on par with them.

You also have to keep up with the latest trends in your industry so when the opportunity comes knocking on your door, you’ll be able to take advantage of it as soon as possible.
